Everything is Broken...

Today at work, the station appears to have entered its “post-apocalyptic transport hub” era.

The ticket machines have begun their quiet rebellion against society. One has stopped accepting cash entirely, while another has apparently retired without submitting notice. There are mysterious holes in the walls, which I’m choosing to believe are part of an ambitious modern art installation, and even the rubbish hasn’t been collected.

Honestly, the whole place currently has the energy of a civilisation that vanished several weeks ago while the tannoy calmly continues announcing minor delays.

Somewhere beneath the chaos, public transport continues heroically onward. Barely.
