I am Wes, and this is my digital departure lounge. By day, I navigate the rhythmic, subterranean maze of the Underground (a glorious, clattering necessity), but my heart is frequently shunted towards the horizon.

This blog is a dedicated space for my travels and the general business of being alive. Expect a mix of:

• Spectacular Vistas: Mostly involving rain-slicked cobbles or airport terminals.
• Emotional Milestones: Usually triggered by a particularly life-affirming pastry.
• Minor Tragedies: The existential dread of a platform alteration, for instance.

I’m embarking on this journey with a sense of beautiful confusion and a rather sophisticated lack of local skills. Whether I'm tunneling through the workday or jetting towards a new city, I’m glad to have you along for the ride.
